’Tis indeed the season to be jolly. After all, it’s hard not to have a smile on your face when you’re participating in the annual holiday festivities. This year, CTG staff and their families came from as far as Halifax to celebrate with their fellow coworkers. More than 200 familiar faces showed up for the annual event in Mississauga, which turned out to be a wild success.
Holiday Party Activities
It was time to let loose and have some good, wholesome fun. What better way to get to know your peers than by participating in a friendly game of family feud. The questions came from our own staff members, which made the game all the more personal and even more hilarious.
It’s also the season of giving. To raise money for Woodgreen Community Services, we held a raffle for some high-prize goodies, such as an iPhone, FitBit, Raptors tickets, and more. CTG matched the raffle amount, and we are able to proudly state that we raised $3,500!
With the help of DJ Randy Photobooth, CTG team members able to express their silly side using all sorts of fun props. The photos made a great keepsake for all of us to take home.
When our stomachs had settled after a delicious dinner, we took to dancing. Some high heels were kicked off as Sandy Vine and the Midnights played excellent live music. It did not take long for everyone to take a spin on the dance floor.
A Time to Give Back
What holiday party is complete without showing gratitude to our loyal staff? Awards given this year were to CTG staff that reached 5, 10, 15 and even 20 year milestones. We thank all our staff members for their continued dedication, integrity and excellent work. Our success is driven by your passion for healthcare.
On behalf of Closing the Gap Healthcare, we wish everyone and their families a safe, stress-free and happy holiday. May you enjoy this period of celebration and ring in the new year with joy and high hopes for the year ahead.
